● Infants Classroom (0 to 18 months)
At Smart Kids, our infants’ classrooms are designed to be pleasing and
peaceful to safely support infants’ needs for independent exploration.
The structure of our program:
● Toddler Classroom (18-36 months)
At this age, children are actively seeking out and learn quickly and easily. Toddlers are especially interested in demonstrating their Independence. The structure of our program:
● Early Childhood (3 to 6 years)
The Montessori classroom is a "living room" for children. Children choose their activities from open shelves with self-correcting materials and work in distinct work areas on tables or on rugs on the floor.
Policies & Procedures
● School hours
The school hours are from 7:50am to 12:45 pm. From Sunday to Thursday. If you wish to pick up your child earlier please contact the school so we can make your child ready for pick up. NOTE : An extended hours program is available as listed below : 7:30 am to 8:00 am 200 SR per month 1:00 pm to 1:30 pm 250 SR per month 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm 350 SR per month
● Birthday Celebrations
If you wish to celebrate your child’s birthday at school, please let the homeroom teacher know a head of time so you will be notified of our birthday policy and the supplies needed for the celebration .
● Morning snack
At ASK preschool we would be offering a dish of assorted fresh fruits in the morning for the children to start their day .
● Lunch Time
Children of the primary and preprimary classes at ASK would have a one time lunch break around the middle of the school day and that would be around 10:00 and 11:00 am . For the 0-18 months class a two times snack and milk bottles feeding would be offered. Because at ASK , we care much about kids eating healthy , please dear mommy make sure to pack for me a healthy small sized lunch box . (e.g., some cutout fruits and cutout vegetables, a small sandwich with a juice would make a perfect meal ) . Unhealthy food is strictly not allowed . Since we at ASK help children to grow up independently , so mommy help us sending food that the children can eat without adults help , like I said , a sandwich , a cut out fruits …etc ) . Of course, our staff will be always there as your angels will be monitored at all times . Our staff would be available to help and supervise the lunch time .
● Water Bottles
Each child should be having his/her own water bottle with a string that would allow them to carry around their shoulders when going out . Fresh water dispensers are always available in the school for the children to refill their bottles when needed .
● After Lunch Time Washing
We at ASK , care much about teaching children self hygiene . We teach them the right way to wash their hands singing their favorite song as well as encouraging them to have their own small towels in their bags to use it . ( Moms should check everyday to keep clean and dry).Tissues and sanitizers will be available at all times in reach of their hands .
● Self Hygiene
Please mommy make sure I come to my school having my nails cut and my hair brushed . A note would be sent back home if there would be any comment .
● Brushing Teeth
We at ASK make the brushing teeth a fun continuous habit so they can keep up the good habits at home . So a pack of a tooth brush and tooth paste should be brought with each child by the beginning of the school year to keep at school . Parents will be notified when another pack is needed .
● Sick Policy
Our aim is to provide and promote a healthy environment for all the children in our care. All children are expected to be well on arrival at Preschool. If you feel your child is unwell enough and had developed a temperature , cold , running nose , eye infection , vomiting , diarrhea , contagious rash or showed any signs of not being well for 24 hr then we would ask that you keep them at home . If the child had developed any of the listed signs earlier or any other illness symptoms while being at school , then kindly parents would be called immediately to pick their child . Meanwhile , for the safety of the other children , your child will be offered a quiet place to rest in the office where he will be given a very good care and made comfortable with an adult supervision till the parents arrival . Sick child will be given the very basic first aid procedures such as measuring the temperature and cooling it down with water . No medicines will be given . It is the responsibility of parents to notify the Preschool of any infectious conditions which their child may have developed. This sick policy helps us at ASK not to prevent but to reduce the spread of disease as much as possible .
● Sleeping Policy
We at ASK would definitely make sure your children would have the optimum care and that they would be comfortable at all times . For 0-18 months , a nap would be necessary for such age . A suitable place and space would be guaranteed for your little angels . For 18 – 36 and 3 – 6 years , a nap would not be necessary unless of course a child feels sleepy and the teacher feels that he /she needs a nap then a space and a good place is guaranteed . We are not to deprive a child from his needs . Please mommy and daddy make sure I have enough sleep at night

● Parent Teacher Meetings
We at ASK are always ready to answer your questions and have your concerns at all times . Please make sure not to distract the staff while the children are in their hands for their own safety . For urgent comments you can always go to the administration who would deliver your message or you can always have the teachers’ time after 1 pm once the children are sent back home. We will be having 3 times scheduled meetings throughout the year ; one by the end of each term discussing your child progress .
● Progress Reports
at the end of each term , a progress report would be issued having the homeroom teacher comments .
● News letters
our curriculum is divided into themes distributed through the school year . Each theme would last for 3 weeks . (E.g. all about me theme , fruits , vegetables , animals ….etc ) . A news letter explaining each one and the things that your child have been learning would be shown in the newsletter . This way would allow you mommy and daddy to keep on track with what your child is learning and would give you a home subjects to talk about . We would be sharing as well some of the songs taught at school . Singing it a long with your child would make lots of fun .
● Folder
Every child will be having a folder labeled with his name that would be sent back home when needed . Please mommy check it always as we may send you any note. Please make sure to send back the next day .
● Calendar
A calendar would be provided to all parents . It will include the very general events and holidays throughout the year . all sub events such as , fun days , water play , pajama day , career day , pictures day or any other event , you parents would be always updated and informed verbally and by emails or by sending back home a slip of paper inside your child’s folder .
● Fee Policy
Registration fee of 2000 SR should be paid in advance at the beginning of the school year . The academic year at ASK would be processed throughout 3 terms . And so the fee is processed accordingly to these 3 terms . Each term fee should be paid in advance . You will be sent a kind reminder of the payable time . Your understanding is appreciated .

Our hygiene and sanitary products are from the NAPCO National company. The NAPCO hand sanitizing products are of premium quality that complies with the international standards. Our staff receives regular training from NAPCO. Our team of cleaners and helpers are from Philippines.
